In the title hydrated mol-ecular salt, C(8)H(12)N(+)·Cl(-)·H(2)O, the component species inter-act by way of N-H⋯O, N-H⋯Cl and O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, resulting in a three-dimensional network.
The atomic arrangement of the title compound, [4-NH2-6-OCH3-C4H3N2]2(H2PO4)2.H2O, can be described by inorganic layers of H2PO4 anions and water molecules parallel to ab-plane at z = and z = , between which organic cations [4-NH2-6-OCH3-C4H3N2] + are located. In the crystal of the title hydrated mol-ecular salt, 2C(7)H(9)ClN(+)·4C(10)H(16)N(+)·P(6)O(18) (6-)·4H(2)O, the packing consists of a three-dimensional O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonded network resulting from the association of anionic layers built up from centrosymmetric cyclohexaphosphate ions and water mol-ecules and the two types of organic cations.
The title compound, C(6)H(10)N(2) (2+)·2Cl(-), contains a network of 4-(ammonio-meth-yl)pyridinium cations and chloride anions which are inter-connected by N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. The crystal packing is also influenced by inter-molecular π-π stacking inter-actions between identical anti-parallel organic cations with a face-to-face distance of ca 3.52 Å.
