Carriage of Methicillin‐Resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius in Small Animal Veterinarians: Indirect Evidence of Zoonotic Transmission
The 3.9% MRSP carriage rate found among small animal dermatologists was surprising in consideration of the rare occurrence of S. pseudintermedius in humans, the lack of MSSP detection and the recent appearance of MRSP in Europe.
Biocontrol Activity of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CNU114001 against Fungal Plant Diseases
The isolate CNU114001 showed broad spectrum activity against 12 phytopathogenic fungi by dual culture method, and crude antifungal substance showed antagonistic activity against cucumber scleotiorum rot in laboratory, and showed antagonism activity against tomato gray mold, cucumber, and pumpkin powdery mildew in greenhouse condition.

Two fungal isolates from surface sterilized tissues and fruits of the medicinal plant were identified as Colletotrichum fructicola and C. brevisporum, respectively, which are represented unrecorded species in Korea.
