We present the cost-effective production of superconducting radio frequency (SRF) cavities made of medium grain (MG) niobium (Nb) discs directly sliced from forged and annealed billet. This…
Heuristic Screening Database for the Development of High Entropy Alloys
- N. Lannoy
- 2018
Materials Science, Engineering
This thesis advances the study and application of HEAs by creating a heuristicallygenerated database of possible high entropy alloy systems, screening conceivable HEAs from the broader palette of multicomponent systems using several metrics proposed in the literature.
Cloning of DNA segments of phage 2C, which allows autonomous plasmid replication in Bacillus subtilis.
It is suggested that the thirteen recombinant clones carried the replication origin region of phage 2C DNA, and that these sequences originated within or close to the redundant extremities of the viral chromosome.
FABRICATION OF 1.3GHz SRF CAVITIES USING MEDIUM GRAIN NIOBIUM DISCS DIRECTLY SLICED FROM FORGED INGOT*
Medium grain (MG) niobium disc which is directly sliced from forged ingot is newly investigated for the cavity material. An effective cost reduction can be achieved using MG niobium since rolling…
