The Osteology and Relationships of Clevosaurus (Reptilia: Sphenodontida)
  • N. Fraser
  • Environmental Science, Geography
  • 17 August 1988
TLDR
The sphenodontid genus Clevosaurus from the late Triassic of south west Britain is represented by at least two different species, and it seems probable that a third species might be distinguished on the basis of dental characteristics, and the occurrence of a fourth species cannot be discounted.
Basal Dinosauriform Remains from Britain and the Diagnosis of the Dinosauria
TLDR
The definition and diagnosis of the Dinosauria are restated and the positions of the new form, herrerasaurs and Eoraptor relative to true dinosaurs are discussed.
How Time Flies for Flies: Diverse Diptera from the Triassic of Virginia and Early Radiation of the Order
TLDR
Flies did not reach modern levels of ecological abundance until the mid-Jurassic, apparently due to diversification within most infraorders by that time, and is described from the Late Carnian of Virginia, USA.
A large aberrant stem ichthyosauriform indicating early rise and demise of ichthyosauromorphs in the wake of the end-Permian extinction
TLDR
It now appears that ichthyosauriforms evolved rapidly within the first one million years of their evolution, in the Spathian (Early Triassic), and their true diversity has yet to be fully uncovered.
The Triassic reptiles Brachyrhinodon and Polysphenodon and the relationships of the sphenodontids
TLDR
Two Triassic sphenodontid reptiles, Brachyrhinodon taylori and Polysphenodon mulleri, are redescribed and it is assumed that the reduced snout has been independently derived in each genus.
FOSSIL ARANEOMORPH SPIDERS FROM THE TRIASSIC OF SOUTH AFRICA AND VIRGINIA
New fossil spiders from Triassic rocks of South Africa and Virginia are described. Though lacking synapomorphies of Araneomorphae, certain features suggest they belong in that infraorder, and
Leehermania prorova, the Earliest Staphyliniform Beetle, from the Late Triassic of Virginia (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae)
TLDR
Leehermania prorova Chatzimanolis, Grimaldi, and Engel, new genus and species, is described, which is the earliest staphylinid and the oldest definitive polyphagan beetle.

A taxonomic and biostratigraphic re-evaluation of the Post Quarry vertebrate assemblage from the Cooper Canyon Formation (Dockum Group, Upper Triassic) of southern Garza County, western Texas
ABSTRACT The Post Quarry, within the lower part of the type section of the Upper Triassic Cooper Canyon Formation in southern Garza County, western Texas, contains a remarkably diverse vertebrate
