Each year at its Congress, the Royal College of Nursing recognises the work and achievements of nurses by awarding the RCN Award of Merit for outstanding contribution to the work of the college.
Each year the RCN recognises the achievements of special nurses by giving the RCN Award of Merit for outstanding contribution to the work of the RCN. Nominations can be made by any RCN member, branch or national forum on the nomination form available from the address below. Nominations for 1998 need to be received by December 5, 1997.
Who do you know who merits an RCN Award of Merit? This accolade can be given for outstanding contributions to the work of the RCN. Each award winner receives a fine insignia with ribbon which is presented at a ceremony during RCN Congress.
Fellowship of the Royal College of Nursing is the most prestigious honour given to members of the RCN who have made an outstanding contribution to nursing.
