Here we present the genome sequence of Dickeya solani strain RNS (PRI3337), isolated from Solanum tuberosum. Dickeya solani, recently described on potato cultures in Europe, is a proposed new taxon closely related to the Dickeya dianthicola and Dickeya dadantii species.
