This article gives an overview of three popular bus organized computer architectures (CAs), called AMBA, CoreConnect and Wishbone. It starts with a brief introduction to on-chip CA, then looks at bus organizations, and concludes with a discussion related to a comparative performance analysis of all three CAs.
