Reinstatement of the genus Heteroglenea Gahan, with four new combinations, four new synonyms and three new species (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Saperdini)
Heteroglenea Gahan, 1897 is reinstated from the synonyms of Glenea (sensu stricto) Newman, 1842, and is redefined. Four taxa are transferred to Heteroglenea: H. fissilis (Breuning, 1953) comb. nov.,
Description of a new species of Distenia (Coleoptera, Disteniidae, Disteniini) from Southeastern China, with records and diagnoses of similar species
A new species is described from Southeastern China that was misidentified as Distenia gracilis but can be separated from the latter by the color of antennae and legs, structure differences on scape, maxillary palp, pronotum, tibiae, punctures on elytra, etc.
First record of Jacobsoniidae (Coleoptera) from China with description of a new species of Sarothrias Grouvelle
The family Jacobsoniidae Heller is newly recorded from China upon the discovery of Sarothrias sinicus Bi & Chen, sp.
Higher‐level phylogeny of longhorn beetles (Coleoptera: Chrysomeloidea) inferred from mitochondrial genomes
The phylogeny of Chrysomeloidea with a focus on Cerambycidae and allied families was explored, revealing that Chrysomelidae (leaf beetles) are sister to all other chrysomeloid families and the diversification of families within Chrysomeliad was largely coincident with the radiation of angiosperms during the Early Cretaceous.
A study on the Indiana & galathea species-group of the genus Glenea, with descriptions of four new species (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Saperdini)
According to this study, Glenea indiana and G. galathea commixed by Breuning (1956) includes several species and they are separated into two species group and the three following species are reinstated.
Development and validation of an integrated pest management strategy for the control of major insect pests on yard-long bean in Cambodia
The performance of the IPM package was on par with Farmers’ practice in reducing the infestations by target pests, without compromising yield, and can be a better alternative to chemical pesticides in managing the key insect pests on yard-long bean in Cambodia.
Analysis of Bemisia tabaci (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) Species Complex in Java, Indonesia Based on Mitochondrial Cytochrome Oxidase I Sequences
The study identified the putative species of whitefly ( Bemisia tabaci ) occurring on crops and weed plants in the pepper production systems of Java, Indonesia in order to manage whitefly-transmitted
