Review article: potential gastrointestinal effects of long‐term acid suppression with proton pump inhibitors
This review examines the evidence for the development of adverse effects due to prolonged gastric acid suppression with proton pump inhibitors in patients with Helicobacter pylori infection and other potential areas of concern.

Results showed that E3 generates tolerogenic DCs, which protect against the inflammatory autoimmune disease EAE, and transfer of E3 DCs to mice prior to active induction of EAE protected them from developing EAE through immune deviation to a Th2 response.
