Novel cry gene from Paenibacillus lentimorbus strain Semadara inhibits ingestion and promotes insecticidal activity in Anomala cuprea larvae.
Southern hybridization analysis demonstrated that the cry genes were located on the chromosomal DNA of this strain, which possessed at least four cry genes, and conserved eight blocks that are conserved in the Cry proteins of Bacillus thuringiensis. Expand
Fractionation of ATPase accelerating peptides from fur seal muscle hydrolysate.
In the previous paper, the ATPase accelerating peptides were found to be distinct from the vasoactive and vasodilatory peptides in the same hydrolysate. This work was undertaken to isolate the ATPaseExpand

l-Asparaginase from E. coli
L-Asparaginase [EC], antitumor enzyme, was purified to a crystalline form from the cell free extract of Escherichia coli A-1-3 KY3598, by ethanol fractionation and chromato-graphies on DEAEExpand
L-Asparaginase from Escherichia coli
Crystalline L-asparaginase from Escherichia coli A-1-3 hydrolyzed D-asparagine, L- and D-glutamine but at much slower rates than the rate at which it hydrolyzed L-asparagine. Inhibitions by theseExpand
