A Gram-stain-positive, halotolerant, neutrophilic, rod-shaped bacterium, strain MF38(T), was isolated from a saline-alkaline soil in China and subjected to a polyphasic taxonomic characterization, showing the closest phylogenetic affinity to the type strain of Gracilibacillus dipsosauri.

Gilvimarinus polysaccharolyticus sp. nov., an agar-digesting bacterium isolated from seaweed, and emended description of the genus Gilvimarinus.
It is proposed that strain YN3(T), isolated from a seaweed sample taken from the coast of Weihai, China, represents a novel species of the genus Gilvimarinus, for which the name Gil vimarinus polysaccharolyticus sp.
Synthesis of glucuronides of propafenone and 5-hydroxypropafenone by Sepharose-bound uridine 5'-diphosphoglucuronyltransferase.

Cloning and Nucleotide Sequence of a cDNA Encoding S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine Synthetase from Mustard (Brassica juncea [L.] Czern & Coss)
Ethylene, a gaseous hormone in plants, is involved in the regulation of a wide range of plant physiological processes, including leaf abscission, fruit ripening, and flower senescence, and changes in the leve1 of endogenous SAM can greatly affect ethylene synthesis.
Utilization of [14C]phenylalanine derived from arylphorin or free amino acid in Manduca sexta pharate adults.

- Biology, ChemistryArchives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology
- 1995
In accord with faster phe turnover near the end of adult development, total 14CO2 production was greater and the retention of 14C in hemolymph and fat body was less compared to the middle stage of development regardless of whether 14C-arylphorin or14C-phe was injected.
Biochemical characterization and functional analysis of Udp-glucose dehydrogenase, in the synthesis of biopolymer Ss from Sphingomonas sanxanigenens NX02
- M. Wu, H. -. Huang, G. Q. Li, J. Zhou, T. Ma
- BiologyApplied Biochemistry and Microbiology
- 2015
Overexpression of the ugdG gene in S. sanxanigenens resulted in increased Ss production and higher fermentation broth viscosity, and the weight-average molecular weight of polymer Ss from the recombinant strain was higher than those from the WT strain at a shear rate of 1 rev/min.
