Synthesis, physicochemical and immunological properties of oxidized inulin-L-asparaginase bioconjugate.
The modification of L-asparaginase with oxidized inulin at molar ratio of 2:1 resulted in decreasing antibody (IgG) titer and immunogenecity after repeated injection of rabbits with respect to the native L-asperaginase. Expand
Changes in the gene expression of adiponectin and adiponectin receptors (AdipoR1 and AdipoR2) in ovarian follicular cells of dairy cow at different stages of development.
It is found that the physiologic status of the ovary has significant effects on the natural expression patterns of adiponectin and its receptors in follicular and luteal cells of bovine ovary. Expand
Genetic diversity of Leishmania major strains isolated from different clinical forms of cutaneous leishmaniasis in southern Iran based on minicircle kDNA.
The Sequence analysis of kDNA from 21 L. major strains showed a high genetic polymorphism of L.major causing CL in southern Iran and correlations among the geographical origin and the clinical manifestations of the disease. Expand
Modulation of cutaneous wound healing by silymarin in rats.
Topical application of silymarin improved the morphological, biochemical and biomechanical properties of experimentally-induced wound defects in rats, and significantly improved alignment of the healing tissue, enhanced maturity of the collagen fibres and fibroblasts, and increased the ultimate tensile strength and stress of the Healing tissue. Kinetic characterization of lactate dehydrogenase in normal and malignant human breast tissues
It was concluded that the lowLDH affinity for lactate and NAD+ is a valuable tool for preserving lactate by cancer cells and increasing of LDH affinity may be a valid molecular target to abolish lactate dependent tumor growth. Expand
Cytoprotective and anti‐apoptotic effects of Satureja khuzestanica essential oil against busulfan‐mediated sperm damage and seminiferous tubules destruction in adult male mice
The results showed that SKEO pre‐administration significantly improved all parameters of epididymal spermatozoa and decreased germinal epithelium destruction following busulfan chemotherapy, supporting valuable data about the application of SKEO for protection against adverse effects ofBusulfan on male genital system in patients under chemotherapy. A study of pica in cattle in Iran
It seems that low serum iron concentration accompanied by low serum ferritin may be associated with long‐term nutritional iron deficiency which then plays an important role in the occurrence of pica. Expand
Nanostructure L-asparaginase-fatty acid bioconjugate: synthesis, preformulation study and biological assessment.
The results showed that bioconjugated L-asparaginase were more resistant to proteolysis, more stable at different pH, and had prolonged plasma half-life, compared to the native form. Expand
Sonic hedgehog pathway suppression and reactivation accelerates differentiation of rat adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells toward insulin-producing cells.
It is indicated that the early inhibition and late reactivation of Shh signaling pathway during the differentiation of ATDMSCs improved the functional properties of IPCs, a novel method that could be considered as an alternative approach for cell-based therapy for type 1 diabetes. Expand
Molecular, cytological, and immunocytochemical study and kDNA sequencing of laryngeal Leishmania infantum infection
Mucosal leishmaniasis is a well-known clinical manifestation of infections mainly caused by New World Leishmania species, especially Leishmania braziliensis (Viannia) in Central and South America. ItExpand
