Selenium and vitamin E concentrations in plasma and erythrocytes of angina pectoris patients
Activity of adenosine deaminase in red blood cells of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis treated with adrenocorticotropic hormone.
- M. Kopff, I. Zakrzewska, H. Chmielewski
- Medicine, BiologyPolish journal of pharmacology
- 1 November 1995
It is suggested that increased activity of adenosine deaminase in red blood cells of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis after treatment with ACTH is caused by diminution of superoxide generation, and therefore its sparing effect on cell membrane and enzyme is connected with membranes.
Cannabis ( Cannabis sativa L.) – valuable plant useful and medicinal
konopi siewnych stosowana będzie nazwa konopie włókniste (ryc. 2). Znajdujące się w uprawie odmiany konopi włóknistych są roślinami jednorocznymi o kwiatach rozdzielnopłciowych, dwulub jednopiennymi…
Adenosine deaminase activity in blood of patients with stable angina pectoris.
- M. Kopff, I. Zakrzewska, J. Klem, J. Kalinowska-Fuchs, M. Strzelczyk
- Medicine, BiologyActa biochimica Polonica
The activity of adenosine deaminases in granulocytes and lymphocytes of patients with stable angina pectoris was lower as compared with control group, whereas these values in erythrocytes and blood plasma were at the normal level.
Superoxide dismutase and catalase activity in psoriatic patients treated topically with ointment containing 2-chloroethyl-3-chloropropyl sulfide.
- M. Kopff, I. Zakrzewska, M. Strzelczyk, J. Klem, W. Dubiecki
- Chemistry, MedicinePolish journal of pharmacology
- 1 September 1994
The results of investigations showed that the ointment (containing mustard gas derivative) applied on psoriatic skin, causes increased of SOD and CAT activity in erythrocytes after regression of psoriasis lesions and treatment termination.
Red cell superoxide dismutase and catalase activity in multiple sclerosis.
X-ray study of growing wetting films
X-ray scattering experiments of liquid films on top of solid substrates were performed. With a short pulse disturbance, caused by a temperature difference between the substrate and the vapour in the…
5'-nucleotidase and adenosine deaminase activities in blood of patients with unstable angina pectoris.
- M. Kopff, I. Zakrzewska, J. Fuchs-Kalinowska, J. Klem, M. Strzelczyk, S. Puczkowski
- Medicine, BiologyHaematologia
It is concluded that a large increase in 5'-nucleotidase activity may be caused by activation of 5'-ectonucleotIDase in blood cells by ischaemia, however, the decrease in ADA activity inBlood cells may be associate with the adenosine metabolism.
Systematics and Botanical Characteristics of Industrial Hemp Cannabis Sativa L
The systematic affiliation of Cannabis has been controversial for many years. Without a doubt, today we know that they belong to the order Rosales, family Cannabaceae, genus Cannabis, species – C. ...
