This work has analyzed the interaction between the Golgi-restricted AP1 complex and the plasma membrane- restricted AP2 complex with the MPR46 tail in vitro by using a biosensor and identified two separate high affinity binding sites for AP1 and AP2.

The effects of 3 natural sesquiterpene lactones evaluated using cultured Leishmania mexicana promastigotes concluded that these compounds can affect the parasite's life cycle, possibly through multiple mechanisms.
