The African cynodont Aleodon (Cynodontia, Probainognathia) in the Triassic of southern Brazil and its biostratigraphic significance
TLDR
The first occurrence of the enigmatic African probainognathian genus Aleodon in the Middle-early Late Triassic of several localities from the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil is reported and a new species of Aleodon is proposed based on the specimens from Brazil.
New stem-sauropodomorph (Dinosauria, Saurischia) from the Triassic of Brazil
TLDR
A new Late Triassic dinosaur from the Santa Maria Formation of Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil is reported, showing dinosaur plesiomorphies together with some neotheropod traits.
New information on Riograndia guaibensis Bonaparte, Ferigolo & Ribeiro, 2001 (Eucynodontia, Tritheledontidae) from the Late Triassic of southern Brazil: anatomical and biostratigraphic implications.
TLDR
The almost complete cranial, mandibular and dental information from the new fossils of Riograndia can bring a significant improve in the understanding of the anatomy and phylogenetic relationships of the tritheledontids and help to elucidate the transformational steps involved in the cynodont-mammal transition.
Two New Cynodonts (Therapsida) from the Middle-Early Late Triassic of Brazil and Comments on South American Probainognathians
TLDR
Two new cynodonts from the early Late Triassic of southern Brazil are described and the phylogenetic hypothesis presented herein indicates the degree to which knowledge on probainognathian cynodronts is incomplete and also the relevance of the South American fossil record for understanding their evolutionary significance.
Trucidocynodon riograndensis gen. nov. et sp. nov. (Eucynodontia), a new cynodont from the Brazilian Upper Triassic (Santa Maria Formation)
TLDR
An almost complete skeleton of a new carnivorous cynodont from the Upper Triassic of Southern Brazil, Trucidocynodon riograndensis gen. nov., is described and the overall morphology of the astragalocalcaneal complex is similar to that of Diademodon and of the therocephalian Bauria.

A New Dicynodont (Therapsida: Anomodontia) from the Permian of Southern Brazil and Its Implications for Bidentalian Origins
TLDR
Phylogenetic analysis indicates that R. procurvidens is the earliest and most basal member of Bidentalia, a cosmopolitan clade that includes Permian and Triassic dicynodonts whose dentition is usually reduced to a pair of maxillary tusks.
On a New Stereospondylomorph Temnospondyl from the Middle—Late Permian of Southern Brazil
A new temnospondyl is described from the Middle—Upper Permian sequence of the Paraná Basin (Rio do Rasto Formation) in southern Brazil. The material consists of disarticulated cranial and postcranial
The Triassic eucynodont Candelariodon barberenai revisited and the early diversity of stem prozostrodontians
TLDR
The reinterpretation of Candelariodon as a probainognatian cynodont more derived than Probainognathus and the rich Brazilian fossil record document an important adaptive radiation of non-mammaliaform prozostrodontians and closely related forms prior to the origin of the mammaliaform clade.
