- Biology, Environmental ScienceJournal of Pest Science
None of the phoretic mites found in the survey in Croatia appear to have the potential to be used for biological control of Pityokteines spp.
Black locust gall midge (Obolodiplosis robiniae), new pest on black locust trees and first record of parasitoid Platygaster robinae in Croatia.
Bagremova muha siskarica se u Hrvatskoj može smatrati novom invazivnom vrstom stetnika na bagremu, a njezini glavni vektori rasprostranjenja Europom bili su intenzivna trgovina biljnim materijalom.

The species composition and abundance of phoretic mites of the bark beetle Pityokteines curvidens caught in pheromone traps were investigated in Croatia, increasing the number of mite species known to bephoretic on P.Curvidens spp.
COMPARISON OF PHORETIC MITES ASSOCIATED WITH BARK BEETLES Ips typographus AND Ips cembrae FROM CENTRAL CROATIA
In different locations of Croatia adults and developmental stages of Ips cembrae, the large larch bark beetle, and Ips typographus, the European spruce bark beetle were collected from Picea abies, Larix decidua und Pinus sylvestris together with substrate from their breeding galleries and examined for phoretic mites.
Success of classical biocontrol agent Torymus sinensis within its expanding range in Europe
It is concluded that T. sinensis established viable and genetically diverse populations and successfully spread naturally from Italy across Slovenia to Croatia and Hungary.
Identification of Entomopathogenic Fungi as Naturally Occurring Enemies of the Invasive Oak Lace Bug, Corythucha arcuata (Say) (Hemiptera: Tingidae)
Evidence is provided of four entomopathogenic fungi that are naturally occurring on invasive OLBs found in infested pedunculate oak forests in eastern Croatia that could facilitate biological control strategies against OLBs.
Spatial Distribution, Genetic Diversity and Food Choice of Box Tree Moth (Cydalima perspectalis) in Croatia
Box tree moth (BTM) is one of the recent introductions of non-native (alien) insect pests to Europe and it is assumed that it was introduced to Europe with infested European box plants and has rapidly spread to most European countries and the Caucasus region with further trade of infested plants.
ULOGA JELOVIH KRIVOZUBIH POTKORNJAKA U SUŠENJU JELE I MOGUĆNOSTI PRIMJENE FEROMONSKIH KLOPKI ZA NJIHOV MONITORING THE ROLE OF BARK BEETLES IN SILVER FIR DECLINE AND POSSIBLE USE OF PHEROMONE TRAPS…

Na temelju toga pretpostavlja se da potkornjacima naseljeno devedesetogodisnje stablo jele izravno ugrožava 50-60 stabala u iducoj godini, te se zakljucuje kako je klopke smisleno koristiti samo u tim mjesecima.
Spread and character of Tomostethus nigritus F. outbreaks in Croatia during the last decade
Detailed study of all developmental stages, especially the late larval and prepupal stages, confirmed earlier published knowledge on this sawfly but provided also some new facts and practical solutions that can be utilized for monitoring and managing this species.
Tachinid (Diptera: Tachinidae) parasitoids of spotted ash looper (Abraxas pantaria) in Krka National Park in Croatia
Five tachinid species were reared from Abraxas pantaria: Phryxe nemea is the first record for this host, and all species are generalist parasitoids.
