A comparative proteome approach to decipher the mechanism of rice adaptation to phosphorous deficiency
- S. Torabi, M. Wissuwa, G. Salekdeh
- BiologyProteomics
- 2009
A coordinated response in NIL in response to phosphorous deficiency which may confer higher adaptation to nutrient deficiency is highlighted.
Genetic diversity of the D-genome in T. aestivum and Aegilops species using SSR markers

Data obtained in this study supports the view that genetic variability in the D-genome of hexaploid wheat is less than in Ae.
Effect of abiotic elicitors on tissue culture of Aloe vera.
- M. Raei, S. Angaji, M. Omidi, M. Khodayari
- Biology
- 2014
In vitro culture of Aloe vera can be induced to produce more secondary metabolites, and experiments showed that aloin content was enhanced with Nano elicitors at 48 hours after treatment and decreased gradually after that and aloin was increased gradually up to168 hours after sucrose treatment.
In Vitro Influences of TiO2 Nanoparticles on Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) Tissue Culture
It is necessary to do more complementary works to identify mechanisms involved for the increased calli size and embryogenesis of explants in darkness, as there is no doubt that TiO2 nanoparticles could dramatically increase callugenesis and the size of calli.

Two discriminant functions suggested that the length of rachis node and spikelet glume had the highest impact on identification of different forms, and Mahalanobis distances (D2) between the two subspecies along with intermediate form on the multidimensional scaling plot showed that the intermediate form is more similar to ssp.
Effects of Different Hormone Treatments on Nonembryogenic and Embryogenic Callus Induction and Time-Term Enzyme Treatments on Number and Viability of Isolated Protoplasts in Saffron (Crocus sativus…

Results obtained from counting number and viability of protoplasts isolated from embryogenic calli with homeocytometer and Trypan Blue indicated that after a 3-h enzyme treatment, 40 x 10 5 protoplast per 1 mL of suspension with 98% viability obtained were the best timeterm treatment.
Effect of plant growth regulators on direct shoot regeneration of wheat ( Triticum aestivum )
A new, simple and efficient method was developed for multiple shoot regeneration of wheat. The effects of different explants and various combinations of plant growth regulators on direct shoot…
The effect of thidiazuron level on in vitro regeneration type and peroxidase profile in Eucalyptus microtheca F. Muell

- BiologyPlant growth regulation (Print)
- 19 August 2009
The peroxidase (POD) band patterns in regenerated plantlets were investigated in order to determine the effect of different levels of TDZ on loci synthesis and seem to be a feasible marker for different types of regeneration.
