Cryptosporidium and concurrent infections with other major enterophatogens in 1 to 30-day-old diarrheic dairy calves in central Spain
Proportional morbidity rates of enteropathogens among diarrheic dairy calves in central Spain
Molecular characterisation of five Sarcocystis species in domestic sheep (Ovis aries) from Spain
The microscopic sarcocysts belonged to a Sarcocystis mihoensis-like species with slanting thorn-like cyst wall protrusions, which was characterised molecularly for the first time and probably uses corvids as definitive hosts.
HYPODERMOSIS OF RED DEER IN SPAIN
Red deer in the Autonomic Organism National Park “Quintos de Mora” were evaluated to determine the prevalence and dynamics of infection with Hypoderma sp.

Morphological and molecular characteristics of six Sarcocystis spp. from red deer (Cervus elaphus) in Spain, including Sarcocystis cervicanis and three new species
Samples of muscle tissue from the diaphragm, oesophagus and/or heart of eight adult red deer from the Quintos de Mora Park in Toledo, Central Spain, were screened for sarcocysts by means of the compression method, revealing the presence of six major cox1 sequence types.

The pathological alterations caused by Anoplocephala perfoliata in the ileocaecal junction of 28 equids slaughtered in an abattoir in Madrid (Central Spain) are described and the possible role of the lesions caused by this parasite in the aetiology of colic is discussed.
