ISBT Working Party on Terminology for Red Cell Surface Antigens: Munich Report
This report is a compilation of the recommendations made by the subcommittees and accepted by the Working Party at the Budapest meeting on August lst, 1982 and at the Munich meeting on July 21st, 1984. Expand
A New Antibody, Anti‐Ku (anti‐Peltz), in the Kell Blood‐Group System
Analysis was made of isoantibody in the serum of Mrs. Peltz, who is of the very rare Kell type K—,k—,Kp(a—b—), and it agglutinated all of 525 bloods chosen at random, and failed toagglutinate only very rare bloods that were of highly unusual Kell types. Expand
The Diego Blood Group System
The presence of the blood group antigen Dia in Chippewa Indians in North America and in Japanese and its absence in 156 Eskimos of the eastern Canadian Arctic are reported. Expand
Some Blood Group Frequencies in a Caucasian Population *
The data here recorded have been gathered over the past year or so; they are the results of tests on unrelated “normal” adult Caucasian Manitobans and the gene and genotype frequencies are in close agreement with those calculated by ALLEN, LEWIS and FUDENBERG. Expand
An Antibody Defining a New Blood Group Antigen, Bua *
An antibody, anti‐Bua, defining a “new” antigen, Bua, is described. The antigen is of low frequency in a Caucasian population. It is inherited in a simple Mendelian manner and is demonstrable in theExpand
Colton Blood Groups in Canadian Caucasians: Frequencies, Inheritance and Linkage Analysis 1
A linkage analysis of Co and 26 other loci indicates that Co is not closely linked to AcP1, ABO, AK1, Ch, Do, GLO, Gm, GPT, HLA, Hp, K, Lu, MN, PGM1 or Rh and does not lie between PGD and PGM 1 on chromosome 1. Expand
The Rh System
The authors produce evidence indicating that this is indistinquishable from heritable and deduce from that it is, therefore, identical with that gene that is Rh and favor the hypothesis that in this they are seeing the expression of a ‘gene of control’ and its effect on a ’gree of structure’ in the complex that isRh. Rhmod, a Second Kindred (Craig) 1
Abstract. Three Rhmod siblings were found to have identical Rh: w1, w2, –3, –4, w5 (D↓ C↓e↓) phenotypes. All had stomatocytic hemolytic anemia. On quantitative hemagglutination studies, as well as onExpand
A New Rh Antigen and Antibody
An antibody, anti‐Wiel, defining an antigen, Wiel, in the Rh system, was found in the blood of a white woman who had been sensitized by transfusion and possibly by pregnancy, and it is thought it may prove to be less rare in Negroes. Expand
