Multivariate Analysis of Morphological Variation in Two Cryptic Species of Sancassania (Acari: Acaridae) from Costa Rica
The populations of Sancassania mites collected in Costa Rica proved to be reproductively incompatible due to postzygotic isolation and show 1.4% difference in domains 2 and 3 of the 28S nuclear rDNA gene, indicating the populations represent distinct species.
Collection and detection of eriophyoid mites
This review examines successful and unsuccessful approaches for collecting eriophyoid mites, and makes recommendations for their detection, supporting studies in taxonomy, ecology, biology, molecular systematics and population genetics.
Phylogeny of infraorder Sejina (Acari: Mesostigmata)
Phylogenetic relationships among the families in the infraorder Sejina and the position of Sejina relative to other infraorders of Mesostigmata are re-examined based on molecular and morphological
Impact of No-till Cover Cropping of Italian Ryegrass on Above and Below Ground Faunal Communities Inhabiting a Soybean Field with Emphasis on Soybean Cyst Nematodes.
Two field trials were conducted between 2008 and 2010 in Maryland to evaluate the ability of an Italian ryegrass (IR) (Lolium multiflorum) cover crop to reduce populations of plant-parasitic
A new species of Sejidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) from the Southeastern USA
Abstract A new sejid mite, Sejus carolinensis n. sp. (Acari: Sejidae) is described for all instars from three different localities in the Southeastern USA. Special attention is paid to developmental
New classification of the family Sejidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) based on morphological analyses
Relationships in the family Sejidae are examined based on analysis of 74 morphological characters and new diagnoses are proposed for the family and its genera.
A new genus of the family Sejidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) based on Sejus krantzi and S. manualkrantzi Hirschmann, 1991
Sejus manualkrantzi (Acari: Mesostigmata: Sejidae) is synonymized with S. krantzi and is assigned to a new genus, Adenosejus.
Improvement of the extraction process in diffusers
A comparison study of sublimation drying of microorganisms and biopreparations in the food industry and the application of Mathematical Planning and Analysis of Experimental Results in Pharmacy.
