Assessment of aggressiveness of prostate cancer: correlation of apparent diffusion coefficient with histologic grade after radical prostatectomy.
The results show that ADC values might help to predict prostate cancer, especially for tumors in the peripheral zone, as well as the addition of other MR parameters, such as volumetry, and technical improvements in diffusion-weighted imaging might improve accuracy in the stratification of patients.

Measurement of low‐energy backscatter factors using GAFCHROMIC film and OSLDs
The scope of this project included making three different backscatter measurements with an Xstrahl‐D3100 X‐ray unit on the Grenz ray and superficial settings, with various measurement methods including OSLDs, GAFCHROMIC EBT2 film, and a PTW ionization chamber.
Measuring the photon depth dose distribution produced by a medical linear accelerator in a water-equivalent radio-fluorogenic gel
Results support continued development of radio-fluorogenic gel dosimetry systems for quality assurance of clinical photon beams and show agreement was within 3 % of published values in most areas of electronic equilibrium.
Respiratory motion effects on whole breast helical tomotherapy.
This phantom-based study specifically addressed the effects of intrafraction respiratory motion on whole breast helical tomotherapy with results representative of extreme deviations between planned and delivered dose with respect to sinusoidal motion of clinically relevant magnitudes and frequencies.
Axillary lymph node coverage of tangent radiotherapy: Comparison of supine versus prone positioning.
Delivery of radiotherapy using simple tangent fields inadequately covers all axillary nodal levels and coverage is greater in the supine position with very little inadvertent coverage in the prone position.
Radio-Fluorogenic Gel Dosimetry with Coumarin
Increased photo-yield with high pH and the utility of gelatin-RFG for phantom studies of radiation dosimetry are demonstrated and a linear dose response relationship independent of energy and type, with a dose-rate dependency is shared.
