A review of Limnocoris Stål (Heteroptera: Naucoridae) in southern South America east of the Andes
The main adaptation of these forms is the development of efficient respiration which enables them to stay permanently submerged and no morphological study has been made to verify the existence of a plastron.

The current knowledge of postembryonic development of Gelastocoridae is scarce and all instars of gelastocors are known only for two species, Gelastokoridae and Nerthra ranina.

The adult of Ctenipocoris schadei (De Carlo) is redescribed and the genital structures are described and figured and the American known species is compared.
