[Comparison of the effects of pipothiazine palmitate and fluphenazine decanoate. Results of a multicenter double-blind trial].

Data analysis of the AMP system at the symptom level showed the better antipsychotic effect of pipothiazine palmitate, and a comparison between the two groups by means of analysis of covariance at the syndrome level showed no statistical significant differences.

A representative sample of 106 men playing at slotmachines with possibility to win money in 61 casinos in Zürich were interviewed and found that compulsive gamblers showed side effects of an addiction like strong tendencies for denial and rationalization and heavily relied on acquaintances and friends for acquiring finances.
