Bioassay-guided fractionation led to the isolation of two active clerodane-type diterpenes that were elucidated by spectroscopic methods as kolavenic acid and 2-oxo-kol avenic acid as well as moderate growth inhibition in Phomopsis viticola and Botrytis cinerea.
