- M. Naghavi, M. Aghaei, A. Taleei, M. Omidi, J. Mozafari, M. Hassani
- BiologyGenetic Resources and Crop Evolution

Data obtained in this study supports the view that genetic variability in the D-genome of hexaploid wheat is less than in Ae.
Microsatellite analysis of genetic diversity and population genetic structure of Aegilops tauschii Coss. in Northern Iran
- M. Naghavi, Mariam Hajikram, A. Taleei, M. Aghaei
- BiologyGenetic Resources and Crop Evolution

The level of genetic diversity for Gilan, Golestan and Mazanderan provinces was higher than for Ardebil, Ghazvin and Semnan provinces, suggesting that these regions may provide a readily available source of potentially useful variation for wheat improvement.
Insecticidal activity of essential oil of Artemisia herba-alba Asso against three stored product beetles
- Iman Sharifian, S. Hashemi, M. Aghaei, M. Alizadeh
- Biology
- 2012
Results suggested that A. herba-alba oil might have potential as a control agent against T. castaneum, C. maculatus, and especially R. dominica.
Distribution and diversity of Aegilops tauschii in Iran
- M. Aghaei, J. Mozafari, A. Taleei, M. Naghavi, M. Omidi

Two discriminant functions suggested that the length of rachis node and spikelet glume had the highest impact on identification of different forms, and Mahalanobis distances (D2) between the two subspecies along with intermediate form on the multidimensional scaling plot showed that the intermediate form is more similar to ssp.
Molecular characterisation and similarity relationships among iranian basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) accessions using inter simple sequence repeat markers
- M. Aghaei, R. Darvishzadeh, A. Hassani
- Biology
- 1 June 2012
The results revealed that the geographical distribution of genotypes could not be used as a basis for crossing parents to obtain high heterosis, and therefore, it must be carried out by genetic studies.
Length polymorphism at the Glu-A3 and Glu-D3 in wild relatives of wheat
- H. H. Khoshro, M. Bihamta, M. E. Hassanii, M. Omidi, M. Aghaei
- Biology

Allelic variation of the LMW-GS is associated with the significant differences of dough quality in bread and durum wheat, and has been widely evaluated at protein level in wheat and its relatives.
Genetic diversity of hexaploid wheat and three Aegilops species using microsatellite markers
- M. Naghavi, M. Aghaei, A. Taleei, M. Omidi, M. Hassani
- Biology
- 2008
A high level of variation and also the highest number of unique alleles were observed within Ae.
Sono-coprecipitation synthesis of ZnO/CuO nanophotocatalyst for removal of parathion from wastewater
- M. Aghaei, S. Sajjadi, Amir Homayoun Keihan
- EngineeringEnvironmental science and pollution research…
- 21 January 2020
The potential of a commonly mixed oxide semiconductor, ZnO/CuO, has been examined to degrade methyl parathion and was fully (100% removal) degraded after 60 min sono-photoirradiation in the optimal experimental conditions.

Hydroethanolic Allium sativum extract accelerates excision wound healing: evidence for roles of mast-cell infiltration and intracytoplasmic carbohydrate ratio
- M. Farahpour, S. Hesaraki, D. Faraji, Rasoul Zeinalpour, M. Aghaei
- Medicine
- 2017
The data show that AS promotes wound healing due to its preliminary impact on mast-cell distribution, which enhanced collagen synthesis and upregulated angiogenesis, and shortened the healing process by enhancing the intra-cytoplasmic carbohydrate ratio.
