We have successfully trapped singly and doubly ionized Ytterbium in a linear RF quadrupole trap. Ionization was accomplished with both photoionization and electron beam ionization. Co-trapping of Yb<sup>+</sup> and Yb<sup>2+</sup> was confirmed through electronic detection.
