This work presents study and experimentation for object recognition when isolated objects are under discussion. The circumstances of similarity transformations, presence of noise, and occlusion have been included as the part of the study. For simplicity, instead of objects, outlines of the objects have been used for the whole process of the recognition.… (More)
A method is described for inverting the Laplace transform. The performance of the Fourier method is illustrated by the inversion of the test functions available in the literature. Results are shown in the tables.
In IEEE 802.15.4 network, a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) coordinator must be firstly elected to start and manage network resources. This will restrict network flexibility and hinder self-configuration of nodes. It consumes much more energy and is also potential to cause network bottleneck in centralized WSN coordinator. The low data rate ad hoc wireless… (More)
Nowadays, Multi-user Multiple-In Multiple-Out (MU-MIMO) systems are used in new generation wireless technologies. Due to ongoing improvement in wireless technology, the numbers of users and applications increase rapidly. At the same time, wireless communication need the high data rate and link reliability. Therefore, MU-MIMO improvements have to consider 1)… (More)
The low data rate ad hoc wireless sensor network over IEEE 802.15.4 protocol has been implemented as an alternative to overcome network bottleneck problem. Unlike IEEE 802.11 protocol that allows RTS/CTS method, the former protocol does not include mechanism to avoid hidden nodes problem. This paper elaborates an evaluation study of hidden nodes effect on… (More)
BACKGROUND The objectives of our study were to find out the frequency in terms of age and sex of the patients, type and site of foreign bodies, clinical manifestations and management with rigid ventilating bronchoscope. METHODS It was a descriptive study carried out in the department of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Saidu Teaching Hospital… (More)
