The spin-orbit scattering ͑SOS͒ of the Pb and Bi impurities in Cs, K, and Na films is measured by means of weak localization. The dimensionless SOS cross section for Pb in Cs ͑in units of 4␲/k F 2 ͒ has the large value of ␴ so *Ϸ 2 3.
