Traumatic haemorrhage in a previously occult intradiploic haemangioma in an elderly lady resulted in clinical and computer tomographic (CT) appearances mimicking an extradural haematoma. Literature relevant to this rare situation is briefly discussed.
Eimeria (E.) tenella (local isolate) sporozoites were adapted on the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) of 10-12 days chicken embryos and completed its life cycle in 6-7 days at 39 degrees C and 70 per cent humidity. Only 23 embryos (4.6%) were found dead from 1-4 day post inoculation of sporozoites with mild lesions on CAM with no gametocytes but few… (More)
With the help of software such as packet sniffer one can easily intercept or capture the network packets that travel across the network. The sniffer captures these packets by setting the NIC card in the promiscuous mode and eventually decodes them and they can be used for several fruitful purposes. This paper discusses the different steps for the… (More)
Lumbosacral agenesis is an extremely rare congenital anomaly of the spine. We report such a case confirmed by metrizamide myelography and computed tomography (CT) after plain radiography of the spine. As a result of this extended investigation , an intraspinal lipoma was discovered , which was then excised completely. A mature male infant was born to a… (More)
The paper presents a new approach for Bandwidth control in Broadband Access Networks, especially Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) and Cable Internet (DOCSIS) users. The basic idea is to have a broadband line to the server receiving all the incoming bandwidth. The approach is to have bandwidth division among various VLANs in a network connected via a switch to… (More)
