In both networks, the Hirsch index has poor correlation with Betweenness centrality but correlates well with Eigenvector centrality, specially for the more important nodes that are relevant for ranking purposes, say in Search Machine Optimization.

A method to quantify dependency between data series composed of few sample points is introduced and used to construct gene co-expression subnetworks of highly significant edges to elucidate the mechanisms underlying celular processes and to formulate new hypotheses.
