Chronic experiments on rabbits with penicillin epilepsy have shown that intravenous injections of the ACHE inhibitor galanthamine, and N-cholinergic-blockers, ganglerone, and eterofen, decreased or suppressed completely epileptogenesis manifestations, but combination of galanthamines with the M-cholinite-blocker metamizil enhanced epileptogenic activity.
