A new map of permafrost distribution on the Tibetan Plateau
Abstract. The Tibetan Plateau (TP) has the largest areas of permafrost terrain in the mid- and low-latitude regions of the world. Some permafrost distribution maps have been compiled but, due to…
P2X7 receptors on osteoblasts couple to production of lysophosphatidic acid: a signaling axis promoting osteogenesis
- N. Panupinthu, J. T. Rogers, S. Dixon
- BiologyJournal of Cell Biology

It is concluded that P2x7 receptors enhance osteoblast function through a cell-autonomous mechanism and a novel signaling axis links P2X7 receptors to production of LPA and COX metabolites, which in turn stimulate osteogenesis.

A novel signaling axis that links P2X7 receptors through phospholipases to production of LPA and activation of Rho-associated kinase is proposed, which may contribute to P2x7-stimulated osteogenesis during skeletal development and mechanotransduction.

Investigations of the electronic structure and superconducting gap of the single-layer FeSe superconductor establish a clear case that such a simple electronic structure is compatible with high-T(c) superconductivity in iron-based superconductors.

E2 is a potential physiological regulatory factor for the peripheral development of CD4+CD25+ Treg cells during the implantation period in mice and the results demonstrate that E2, at physiological doses, stimulated the conversion ofCD4+ CD25− T cells into CD4-CD25- T cells which exhibited enhanced Foxp3 and IL‐10 expression in vitro.
