[Ru(bpy)2dppz]2+ electrochemiluminescence (ECL) was studied, and it was used to investigate DNA interaction and develop a label-free ATP aptasensor for the first time. ECL of [Ru(bpy)2dppz]2+ is negligible in aqueous solution, and increases approximately 1000 times when [Ru(bpy)2dppz]2+ intercalates into the nucleic acid structure. The ECL switch behavior… (More)
Room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) are liquids at room temperature and represent a new class of nonaqueous but polar solvents with high ionic conductivity. The conductivity property of carbon nanotubes/RTILs and carbon microbeads/RTILs composite materials has been studied using ac impedance technology. Enzyme coated by RTILs-modified gold and glassy… (More)
A novel class of chiral coordination polymer organogels, with multi-stimuli responsive properties and suitable for use as catalysts in 1,3-dipolar Huisgen cycloaddition reaction, are reported.
ZIF-8 crystal coatings were prepared by direct growth on different flexible polyimide substrates including a thin membrane and electrospun nanofiber mat. In SEM pictures, the ZIF-8 crystals exhibit a rhombic dodecahedron morphology. Owing to the flexible polyimide substrate, the MOF-polymer film may be moderately bent or easily tailored when not destroyed.… (More)
A novel low density two-fold interpenetrated MOF-5 analogue with pcu topology, JUC-100, was designed and prepared successfully. It can be regarded as MOF-5 in which half of the Zn(4)O(CO(2))(6) units are replaced by organic 1,3,5-triphenylbenzene segments. JUC-100 exhibits H(2) uptake ability comparable to interpenetrated MOF-5, but relatively low initial… (More)
A highly robust MOF based on a 12-carboxyl dendritic aromatic ligand and two Cd clusters is successfully synthesized. This activated MOF exhibits high heat of absorption of CO2 and highly selective adsorption of CO2 over CH4. Especially, a new type of topology (hhm-a) is presented.
Sequence-defined chiral polyimides comprising identical asymmetric diamine monomers arranged in different directions along the main chain were designed and prepared. These new sequence-defined polymers exhibit sequence-dependent self-assembly behaviors and responses to ibuprofen enantiomers, as revealed by their chiroptical spectra and gelation properties.… (More)
New simple hydrogelators containing the structural features of cyclic amino acids were investigated for water gelation through H-bonds from carboxylic acids and amino groups, showing for the first time the use of a single amino acid as a hydrogelator. The hydrogels were used for the synthesis of Pt and Ir nanoparticles, showing for the first time that a… (More)
Optically active axially dissymmetric binaphthyl derivatives have been extensively used as excellent chiral ligands in asymmetric catalysis and chiral recognition. The review describes the applications of binaphthyl derivatives as chiral stationary phases in high performance liquid chromatography. Fifty four references are cited.
Two non-interpenetrated and isomorphous MOFs with nia topology, cationic JUC-101 and anionic JUC-102, are synthesized by connecting a trigonal prismatic metal cluster with an octahedral organic ligand. JUC-101 obtains a BET surface area of 3742 m(2) g(-1) and can absorb 4.18 wt% of H2 at 30 atm and 77 K, while JUC-102 can absorb cationic dye molecules and… (More)
