a r t i c l e i n f o This paper studies flow and heat transfer of pseudo-plastic nanoliquid in a finite thin film over an unsteady stretching surface with variable thermal conductivity and viscous dissipation effects. Four different types of nanoparticles, Cu, Al 2 O 3 , CuO and TiO 2 are considered with sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)-water used as a… (More)
A new definition of the homotopy analysis method is given by means of the decomposition method in this paper. The convergence of the homotopy decomposition method is proved under some reasonable hypotheses, which provide the theoretical basis of the homotopy decomposition method for solving nonlinear problems. AMS subject classification: 34A34.
This paper deals with a singular nonlinear two-point boundary value problem arising in the initial boundary value problem of a generalized diffusion equation. The existence and uniqueness of the positive solution to the problem is established by utilizing the perturbation technique and a fixed point theorem. AMS subject classification: 34B15.
