Role of anti-Müllerian hormone and testosterone in follicular growth: a cross-sectional study
Since DOR and PCOS are manifested with insufficient AMH and excessive AMH respectively, it is suggested that total testosterone correlated with AMH closely and plays an important role in follicular growth.
Effects of micronutrients on the reproduction of infertility rat model induced by adenine.
- Zheng Yu, Jing Chen, Pei-Qin Shou, Lei Feng
- BiologyInternational Journal of Clinical and…
- 15 September 2014
Evidence for the potential application of micronutrients in male infertility treatments is provided, with significantly improved physical signs and significantly increased body weights, significantly increased testis index, and significantly decreased sperm counts and motility.
Association Between Sleep Quality and Semen Parameters and Reproductive Hormones: A Cross-Sectional Study in Zhejiang, China
- Cong-Qi Du, Yong-Yi Yang, J. Chen, Lei Feng, Wen-qin Lin
- MedicineNature and Science of Sleep
- 9 January 2020
Poor sleep quality might be related to impaired semen quality, but it is found no evidence that poor sleep quality affects reproductive hormones.
Construction of implantation failure related lncRNA-mRNA network and identification of lncRNA biomarkers for predicting endometrial receptivity
An implantation failure related lncRNA-mRNA network is constructed, and six key lncRNAs and their ceRNA sub-networks are identified, which were involved in immunological activity, growth factor binding, vascular proliferation, apoptosis and steroid biosynthesis in uterus and prepared endometrium for embryo implantation.
Circulating microRNA let-7e is decreased in knee osteoarthritis, accompanied by elevated apoptosis and reduced autophagy
- Lei Feng, C. Feng, Jin-Ming Shen
- Biology, MedicineInternational Journal of Molecular Medicine
- 10 March 2020
Evidence is provided that circulating let-7e may be a potential serum biomarker for the diagnosis and treatment of KOA and that treatment with Si-Miao-San (SMS) treatment restored the expression of let- 7e and reversed the changes in apoptosis and autophagy.
Environmental factors contributed to circannual rhythm of semen quality
It is found that sperm concentration and total amount per ejaculate were significantly lower in summer and higher in winter, but, sperm progressive motility and motility were significantly higher in spring and summer, lower in autumn and winter, and suggest seasonal and monthly variation underlying some semen parameters.
Role of mtDNA Haplogroups in the Prevalence of Osteoarthritis in Different Geographic Populations: A Meta-Analysis
The current meta-analysis suggests that mtDNA haplogroup J and cluster TJ correlate with the risk of OA in Spanish population, but the associations in other populations require further investigation.
The risk factors of vertebral refracture after kyphoplasty in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures: a study protocol for a prospective cohort study
- Lei Feng, C. Feng, Jie Chen, Yuehua Wu, Jin-Ming Shen
- MedicineBMC Musculoskeletal Disorders
- 2 July 2018
A prospective cohort study of patients admitted for PKP to treat painful OVCFs to explore the risk factors related to vertebral refracture after PKP and to identify the surgical points related to postoperative refractur.
Comparison of radiofrequency kyphoplasty (RFK) and balloon kyphoplasty (BKP) in the treatment of vertebral compression fractures
RFK appears to be more effective and safer than BKP in the present meta-analysis, so large-sample multicentered RCT studies are required to validate this new surgery system.
[Effects of some micronutrients on partial androgen deficiency in the aging male].
The effects of micronutrients on PADAM is discussed, which shows that quite a few nutrients are favorably related to androgen deficiency and sperm production.
