Five single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) associated with thyroid cancer (TC) risk have been reported: rs2910164 (5q24); rs6983267 (8q24); rs965513 and rs1867277 (9q22); and rs944289 (14q13). Most of these associations have not been replicated in independent populations and the combined effects of the SNPs on risk have not been examined. This study(More)
The neurotoxin 3-acetylpyridine was administered to 20-day-old rats to produce lesions of the inferior olive-climbing fiber projection to the cerebellum. Cerebellar cGMP levels were determined 6 h, 24 h, 48 h, 7 days, 14 days and 20 days postlesion. A significant effect on cGMP was found only at 48 h (-28%) and 7 days (-45%) postlesion.
