Possible dissemination of Spilocaea oleagina conidia by insects (Ectopsocus briggsi)
Ectopsocus briggsi was recognized as a probable agent in dispersal of Spilocaea oleagina and found on the body, inside the insect and in its excrement.

Conclusive diagrams show sperm length in some species to be disproportionate if compared with the size of the receptacle, especially in spermatozoa separated from the spermatheca.
