Study of sugarcane pieces as yeast supports for ethanol production from sugarcane juice and molasses
Investigation of the suitability of immobilized Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain AS2.1190 on sugarcane pieces for production of ethanol fermentation showed that cell immobilization resulted in firm adsorption of the yeast cells within subsurface cavities, capillary flow through the vessels of the vascular bundle structure, and attachment of the Yeast to the surface of the sugarCane pieces. MicroRNA‐26a suppresses tumor growth and metastasis of human hepatocellular carcinoma by targeting interleukin‐6‐Stat3 pathway
Down‐regulation of microRNA‐26a (miR‐26a) is associated with poor prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but its functional mechanism in HCC remains unclear. In this study, we investigated theExpand
Prognostic impact of programed cell death-1 (PD-1) and PD-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in cancer cells and tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in colorectal cancer
Higher expressions of PD-1 and PD-L1 correlates with better prognosis of CRC patients, and TILs-PD-1 is an independent prognostic factor for OS and DFS of CRC Patients, especially for MMR-proficient subgroup. Expand
Over-expression of lncRNA DANCR is associated with advanced tumor progression and poor prognosis in patients with colorectal cancer.
The data indicated that lncRNA DANCR expression might be a novel potential biomarker for CRC prognosis and an independent poor prognostic factor for both OS and DFS in CRC. Expand
Stand-alone anchored spacer versus anterior plate for multilevel anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion.
Compared with using an anterior plate, anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion with a stand-alone anchored spacer achieved a similar clinical outcome with less irritation to the prevertebral soft tissue and a lower dysphagia rate in the first 2 months. Expand
MicroRNA‐26a suppresses angiogenesis in human hepatocellular carcinoma by targeting hepatocyte growth factor‐cMet pathway
MicroRNA (miR)‐26a can suppress tumor growth and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Since angiogenesis is important for tumor growth and metastasis, we investigated the possible roles ofExpand
The role of autophagy induced by tumor microenvironment in different cells and stages of cancer
The interaction between Autophagy and the tumor microenvironment and the paradoxical roles of autophagy on tumor growth at different stages of tumor development are discussed. Expand
Long Term Results of Anterior Corpectomy and Fusion for Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy
ACCF with anterior plate fixation is a reliable and effective method for treating CSM in terms of JOA score and the recovery rate and the correction of cervical alignment and the repeated surgery rate for ASD are considered to be satisfactory. Expand
Maintenance of Stemness in Oxaliplatin-Resistant Hepatocellular Carcinoma Is Associated with Increased Autocrine of IGF1
Maintenance of stemness in oxaliplatin-resistant hepatocellular carcinoma cells is associated with increased autocrine of IGF1 and decreasing sensitivity to oxali platin and increasing pulmonary metastatic potential. Expand
Integrated microbiome and metabolome analysis reveals a novel interplay between commensal bacteria and metabolites in colorectal cancer
The results provide substantial evidence of a novel interplay between the gut microbiome and metabolome (i.e., polyamines), which is drastically perturbed in CRC, and Microbe-associated metabolites can be used as diagnostic biomarkers in therapeutic explorations. Expand
