The requirements to be fullled by a Sensitizer in a standard patch test series are discussed in this article and a procedure of investigations is proposed before a sensitizer is included in astandard series.

This work reports on 18 cases of respiratory disease, mainly asthma, caused by different acrylates, 10 cases caused by cyanoacrylate, four by methacryLates and two cases by other acryllates.

To detect cases of occupational allergic contact dermatitis, it is suggested that patients working with dental prosiheses should be patch tested with MMA, 2‐hydroxyethyi methacrylate, and dimeihacrylates.
Self-reported health complaints among general dental practitioners, orthodontists, and office employees.
The present results show an increased risk of self-reported musculoskeletal symptoms for the dental professionals, and a tendency towards increased occurrence of skin symptoms was noted for the dentist professionals compared to office employees of this study.
