- L. Galli, D. Bartel, N. Szucsich
- Biology
- 2 January 2016
Acerentomon italicum is redescribed according to the most recent revision of diagnostic characters (morphometry, porotaxy), examining the type material and 59 specimens from 11 different localities in the authors' collection.
The flower biology of Daphne gnidium L. (Thymelaeaceae)
- E. Roccotiello, G. Casazza, L. Galli, L. Cornara, A. Moncalvo, L. Minuto
- BiologyPlant Systematics and Evolution
- 17 March 2009
The reproductive fitness of the species is low and the ripening process often fails, so the female organ often shows developmental arrest and the complex or transient evolutionary traits displayed by D. gnidium are comparable to those of Thymelaea hirsuta and other members of theThymelaeaceae.
Protura of Italy, with a key to species and their distribution
- L. Galli, M. Capurro, C. Torti
- Environmental ScienceZooKeys
- 11 September 2011
The comparison with the species richness known for some best studied Central and Eastern European Countries leads us to speculate that widening the authors' research, Italian Protura check-list will be much implemented.

Is the QBS-ar index a good tool to detect the soil quality in Mediterranean areas? A cork tree Quercus suber L. (Fagaceae) wood as a case of study
- L. Galli, M. Capurro, C. Menta, I. Rellini
- Environmental Science

The QBS-ar index could be considered to be a valid candidate for the biomonitoring of soil biodiversity in natural and anthropic soils, but in Mediterranean climates comparisons of different areas must be performed analyzing samples collected during the same period.
