The clinical history of these strains are evaluated and it is shown that Cronobacter sakazakii O2, O1, and O4, C. turicensis O 1, and C. malonaticus O2 serotypes are particularly predominant in clinical cases.
Development of an ELISA specific for Listeria monocytogenes using a polyclonal antibody raised against a cell extract containing internalin B
- L. Karamonová, M. Blažková, G. Wyatt
- Biology
- 1 September 2003
We have developed a new enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that is specific to the foodborne pathogenic micro-organism Listeria monocytogenes. It is based on an antibody raised against an L.…

- Chemistry, MedicineArchives of Environmental Contamination and…
- 1 September 1991
Twenty-two water samples from Bohemian Paradise in Czechoslovakia were analyzed for atrazine by enzyme immunoassay (EIA) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and agreement between the methods was good.
Monitoring of aflatoxins and ochratoxin A in Czechoslovak human sera by immunoassay
- L. Fukal, H. Reisnerová
- ChemistryBulletin of Environmental Contamination and…
- 1 March 1990
Since a level of food contamination with aflatoxins and ochratoxin A has been found low in Czechoslovakia, human exposure to these mycotoxins may not be negligible. However, analysis of food samples…
A survey of cereals, cereal products, feedstuffs and porcine kidneys for ochratoxin A by radioimmunoassay.
- L. Fukal
- Biology, MedicineFood Additives and Contaminants
- 1 March 1990
The results show that the most contaminated are feedstuffs and cereals, in 26.7% and 8.8% of the samples of which, respectively, the ochratoxin A level exceeded 20 micrograms/kg.
