Simple ultrasoundābased rules for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer
- D. Timmerman, A. Testa, L. Valentin
- MedicineUltrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- 1 June 2008
To derive simple and clinically useful ultrasoundābased rules for discriminating between benign and malignant adnexal masses, ultrasound-based rules are derived from existing clinical practice and animal studies.
Simple ultrasound rules to distinguish between benign and malignant adnexal masses before surgery: prospective validation by IOTA group
- D. Timmerman, L. Ameye, L. Valentin
- MedicineBMJ : British Medical Journal
- 14 December 2010
In adnexal masses for which the simple rules yielded an inconclusive result, subjective assessment of ultrasonic findings by an experienced ultrasound examiner was the most accurate diagnostic test; the risk of malignancy index and the two regression models were not useful.
Logistic regression model to distinguish between the benign and malignant adnexal mass before surgery: a multicenter study by the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis Group.
- D. Timmerman, A. Testa, L. Valentin
- MedicineJournal of Clinical Oncology
- 1 December 2005
Because the logistic regression model was constructed from multicenter data, it is more likely to be generally applicable and will be tested prospectively at different centers.
Prognostic impact of pregnancy after breast cancer according to estrogen receptor status: a multicenter retrospective study.
- H. Azim, N. Kroman, F. Peccatori
- Medicine, BiologyJournal of Clinical Oncology
- 2013
Pregnancy after ER-positive BC does not seem to reduce the risk of BC recurrence, and DFS in the whole population, and overall survival (OS) were secondary objectives.

Multimodality imaging can predict the metabolic response of unresectable colorectal liver metastases to radioembolization therapy with Yttrium-90 labeled resin microspheres
- P. Flamen, B. Vanderlinden, A. Hendlisz
- MedicinePhysics in Medicine and Biology
- 21 November 2008
Integrated multimodality imaging allows prediction of metabolic response post radioembolization using Y90-resin microspheres, and should be used for patient selection.
Post-traumatic stress, anxiety and depression following miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy: a prospective cohort study
- J. Farren, M. Jalmbrant, T. Bourne
- Medicine, PsychologyBMJ Open
- 1 November 2016
A large number of women having experienced a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy fulfil the diagnostic criteria for probable PTSD, and psychological morbidity, and in particular PTSD symptoms, persists at least 3ā
months following pregnancy loss.
Interpregnancy Weight Change and Risk for Adverse Perinatal Outcome
- A. Bogaerts, B. V. D. Van den Bergh, R. Devlieger
- MedicineObstetrics and Gynecology
- 1 November 2013
It is shown that weight retention between the first and second pregnancy is associated with an increased risk for perinatal complications, even in underweight and normal-weight women.
Epidemiology and outcome of fungemia in a cancer Cohort of the Infectious Diseases Group (IDG) of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC 65031).

BACKGROUND
Anti-cancer treatment and the cancer population have evolved since the last European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) fungemia survey, and there are few recentā¦
Molecular imaging as a tool to investigate heterogeneity of advanced HER2-positive breast cancer and to predict patient outcome under trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1): the ZEPHIR trial.
- G. Gebhart, L. E. Lamberts, P. Flamen
- MedicineAnnals of Oncology
- 1 April 2016
Pretreatment imaging of HER2 targeting, combined with early metabolic response assessment holds great promise for improving the understanding of tumor heterogeneity in mBC and for selecting patients who will/will not benefit from T-DM1.
