We evaluated the effect of sampling of capillary blood on filter paper on the later analysis for glucose. We found the method simple and reliable. Determination at the central laboratory of glucose in blood collected onto filter paper and comparison of the results with those obtained with test strips read in reflectometers at outpatient units is easy.(More)
