Current ultra-high frequency air interface protocols help users get the true benefits of second-generation RFID standards. However, these technologies also have some security drawbacks and limitations.
A low phase noise CMOS complementary cross-coupled LC-tank voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), implemented with TSMC 0.18μm 1P6M CMOS technology, is presented. Double pair pseudoresistance transistors biased by the tapped center of the inductor are utilized to reduce the DC bias current. The circuit consumes 1.55 mA from a 1.5 V supply voltage which saves… (More)
A printed microstrip window antenna is proposed in this paper. The window antenna is obtained by perforating a con entional microstrip patch antenna into a window-like geometry. This perforation not only induces a size reduction of more than 50%, but also makes it possible for antenna and RF circuits to be integrated into a unified subsystem by embedding… (More)
