Chromosomal location of Ag/CMA3-NORs, 5S rDNA and telomeric repeats in two stickleback species
The results obtained in two stickleback species are of considerable interest and further karyological studies should be carried out on the other populations of the wide species range to provide a more general picture of karyoevolutive trends in Gasterosteidae.

The application of primed in situ (PRINS) labeling approach for the chromosomal mapping of repetitive DNA sequences in Danube salmon (Hucho hucho) was successfully performed with primers enabling amplification of 5S rRNA genes (minor rDNAs), NOR building DNA sequences (major r DNAs), and telomeric sequences.
