Potato virus Y (PVY) in Seed Potato Certification
Investigation of PVY-infected potato leaf samples from Bavarian potato seed certification found that the ”classical“ O and the N strains, predominantly responsible for severe virus diseases, represented less than 1% of the infections present, and there was no correlation detected between virus concentration and symptom severity.

Two hybrids between the monkey goby Neogobius fluviatilis and the round gobys from the Rhine River were identified by genotyping and morphological comparison, the first records of goby-hybrids outside the parent species' native ranges worldwide.
Molecular characterization of a new tobacco rattle virus (TRV) RNA2 and identification of different TRV RNA1/RNA2 pairings in various potato-growing areas in Germany
The almost complete nucleotide sequences lacking only the short primer-derived 5’ and 3’ ends were determined for two closely related isolates of a new tobacco rattle virus (TRV) RNA2, i.e., ByKT…
Complete nucleotide sequences of two closely related tobacco rattle virus RNA2s for which previously possibly only deletion/recombination mutants had been described.
Impact of climate change on insect vector populations and the occurence and prevalence of insect-transmitted plant viruses in major crop plants of Germany

The effectiveness of chemical and physical seed treatments to control anthracnose in Lupinus luteus.
Impact of Stolbur Phytoplasmas on Potato Tuber Texture and Sugar Content of Selected Potato Cultivars
Across all cultivars examined, phytoplasmal concentration was significantly higher in symptomatic tubers than in non-symptomatic ones, and fully resistant cultivars were not observed.
Climate change as a potential cause of the occurrence of potato stolbur in Germany
Molecular characterization of variants of a new 'rule-breaking' tobacco rattle virus RNA2 in potatoes.
