First finding of the pine wood nematode, bursaphelenchus xylophilus(steiner et buhrer) nickle and its insect vector in Korea
Mating behaviour and reproductive cycle of Archaster typicus (Echinodermata: Asteroidea)
The reproductive cycle, the mechanism of male-on-female pairing behavior and the spawning behavior of Archaster typicus Müller et Troschel are examined, which leads to simultaneous spawning, increasing the probability of fertilization.

The results showed that the inducibility of morphological defences depends on the egg type, with inducible defences predominant in asexual eggs while fixed defences are employed by the offspring of sexual eggs in Daphnia.

Zooplankton community dynamics during the summer Microcystis bloom in the lower part of the Nakdong River, South Korea
Zooplankton can attain high densities in lowland downstream rivers, where sufficient nutrients and the slow flow rate usually provide favorable conditions for their rapid growth and reproduction. A…
Impact of invertebrate predators on rotifer populations in lakes: field observation and experimental analysis
The impact of invertebrate predators on rotifer populations is estimated by eomparing zooplankton eommunities of 30 lakes with different environmental eonditions in the same season, and in a mesocosm experiment in which the density of cyelopoid eopepod was control!ed.
