Catellatospora, a New Genus of the Actinomycetales
Two species of the new genus Catellatospora, belonging to the “actinoplanates” group, are described, which are aerobic and produce nonfragmenting vegetative hyphae and no true aerial mycelium.
Asaccharobacter celatus gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from rat caecum.
The data presented in this work show that strain do03T differs from members of the related recognized genera Eggerthella and Denitrobacterium at both the phylogenetic and phenotypic level, and constitutes a novel genus and species.

The results indicate the possibility of molecular identification of species groups using rDNA sequencing and suggest that reclassification of the genus Rhizopus might be appropriate.
Rhizopus delemar is the proper name for Rhizopus oryzae fumaric-malic acid producers.
The zygomycete Rhizopus oryzae currently is identified by sporangiophore morphology and growth temperature, but heterogeneity of the species has been reported, and reclassification of strains in the FMA group as R. delemar was proposed.
