Aphids' populations were the highest in their numbers, during the two months April and May 2019, on both the two trees species, and the existence periods of aphids' individuals on both pear and plum trees were the same as those recorded in case of the predator C. carnea.

Monitoring populations of the brown marmorated and green stink bugs at the Agricultural Research Center, Beltsville, Maryland, for the 2004-2008 growing seasons verified that H. halys is highly attracted to methyl (E,E,Z)2,4,6-decatrienoate, and that the native green stink bug, Acrosternum hilare (Say), also is attracted to this compound.
