—A process of determining whether two or more bodies are making contact at one or more points is called collision detection or intersection detection. Collision detection is inseparable part of the computer graphics, surgical simulations, and robotics. There are varieties of methods for collision detection. We will review some of the most common ones.… (More)

The electronic records of 398 patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) who had had a serum basophil histamine release assay (BHRA) performed as a marker of functional autoantibodies were audited. The BHRA was positive in 105 patients (26.4%). Fifty eight were treated with ciclosporin because they were H1 anti-histamine unresponsive. CSU patients… (More)
We present the first known case of pulmonary artery aneurysms as a feature of Recurrent Anti-Glomerular Basement Membrane disease.
The aim of this study is to simulate the contraction phenomena in pregnant uterine. Differential equations are used to model the uterine contractions for three states, namely contracting, refractory, and resting. Since verification and validation are vital for simulation systems, we compared our model with uterine magnetomyogram (MMG) data which are… (More)
